Profile Settings
Your profile settings control how you appear on GLMImage and how the platform interacts with you.
Accessing Profile Settings
- Click on your avatar in the top right corner
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
- Navigate to the "Profile" tab
Profile Information
Display Name
Your display name is shown to other users (if you share images publicly) and appears on your account dashboard.
Note: You can change your display name at any time. Choose a name you're comfortable being associated with your generated content.
Email Address
Your email is used for:
- Account notifications
- Password resets
- Billing and subscription updates
- Important service announcements
To change your email:
- Click "Edit" next to your email
- Enter your new email address
- Enter your current password for verification
- Check your new email for a verification link
- Click the link to confirm the change
Profile Picture
Upload an avatar to personalize your account:
Choose Your Image
Select a clear, recognizable image. Recommended size: 400×400 pixels minimum. Supported formats: JPG, PNG, WebP Maximum file size: 5MB
Upload
Click "Upload Avatar" and select your image file.
Adjust and Save
Crop and position your image as desired, then click "Save."
Preferences
Language
Choose your preferred language for the GLMImage interface:
- English (US)
- 中文 (简体中文)
- 日本語
- More languages coming soon
Language preference affects the interface only. Prompts can be written in any language.
Email Notifications
Control which emails you receive:

Connected Accounts
Link external accounts to enhance your GLMImage experience:
Social Connections
Connect your social accounts for:
- Easy sharing to social platforms
- Profile verification
- Exclusive features and integrations
Your account is linked. Features are enabled.
Click "Connect" to link your account and unlock features.
Data and Privacy
Profile Visibility
Control who can see your profile information:
- Public: Anyone can view your profile
- Private: Only you can view your profile
- Friends Only: Only connected users can view your profile
Activity Status
Show when you're active on GLMImage:
- On: Others can see when you're online
- Off: Your activity is hidden
Account Actions
Export Your Data
Request a copy of your data:
- Scroll to "Account Actions"
- Click "Request Data Export"
- You'll receive an email when your export is ready (may take 24-48 hours)
Deactivate Account
Temporarily disable your account:
- Scroll to "Account Actions"
- Click "Deactivate Account"
- Follow the confirmation prompts
Your data is preserved, and you can reactivate by logging back in.
Important: Deactivation is different from deletion. To permanently remove your account and data, use "Delete Account" instead.
